Each Bom member will be on an interview team. Each team will read one applicant's theology paper, watch another applicant's dvd of a worship service and review a third applicant's Bible study. Therefore each team will visit with three different applicants in depth.

At this stage, applicants are being judged on EFFECTIVENESS for ministry.

The theology interviews will be conducted in the morning with a longer time period than the other interviews. Some time should be set aside for attending to Disciplinary questions regarding “practice of ministry” (P 335.7(c)) and other personal information and/or questions.

Sermon interviews will be questions and answers pertaining to sermon preparation and worship.

During the Bible study interview time, applicants will be asked to introduce and deliver a portion of their prepared Bible study as if the team were students in their class. Bom members will act the part of whatever group the study is written for (women's study, youth group, etc.). Bom members will take the last 15 minutes of the interview for questions.

Our last session with the applicants will be similar to a listening session. Each team will ask four applicants (the ones they have not yet met with) a question. Each session will be no longer than 10 minutes. The purpose of this team is simply to have some face to face time with each applicant. Teams may choose to ask a “tell us a time when” question (tell us a time when you were challenged; a time when you had some success; a time when you felt close to God, etc.)

At the end of the day's interviews all Bom members should have had some time with each of the 7 applicants. The evening should be spent discerning/processing the day's events.
